THE GENERAL THEORY OF VISCOELASTICITY UNDER NONCONSTANT TEMPERATURE STATES

Abstract:
This paper presents the concept of relaxation curves under nonconstant temperature states, the method of determining relaxation curve under nonconstant temperature states along a temperature history from a group of relaxation curves under constant temperature states, the concept of equivalent relaxation curve at the terminal temperature and, finally, the general constitutive equations of viscoelastic materials under nonconstant temperature states. It is proved that the theory of thermorheological simple material is a special case of this theory. This paper reveals the physical meaning of the mathematical method in the theory of thermorheological simple material.
