THE MULTI-CHAINS INTERACTION OF ELECTRORHEOLOGICAL FLUIDS

With the concept of equivalent conductivity plate, we presented a calculating methodfor the interactions among particles in a single chain and among Chains in a nonpolar liquid. Thusthe interactions in a single chain and in different 2D structure is obtained. Further, we get theirstress-strain relationship. The results show the interactions among chains significantly enhancedthe anti-shear capacities of ER fluids.
