A COUPLING MODEL OF THE LAND ATMOSPHERE INTERACTION WITH CANOPY INFLUENCE 1)
|
Abstract:
A coupling micrometeorological model for SPAC system over maize field in Huang Huai Hai Plain is presented. The model consists of turbulent flow equation system and canopy radiation assumption regarding energy balance for a leaf. The canopy is divided into several layers, aiming at revealing the vertical profiles of mean quantities within it and providing scientific basis for parameterization of terrestrial processes. The model is shown capable of well simulating the microenvironment of maize canopy in good agreement with measured mean temperature, specific humidity and latent heat fluxes et al. There are some conclusions: (1) The model is shown capable of well simulating the microenvironment of maize canopy in good agreement with measured mean temperature, specific humidity and latent heat fluxes et al. It can be used to simulate land atmosphere interaction in which the surface is horizontally homogeneous. (2) And the sensitivity test is carried out as well to analyze canopy's influence. The sensitivity tests for bare soil condition show that plants canopy can remarkably improve the microenvironment, such as soil surface temperature, atmosphere moisture, et al. (3) Latent heat flux is found greater than sensible heat flux in Huang Hui Hai Plain in autumn. In a word, the mathematical model we have suggested can be used to simulated the energy and water cycling in semiarid or arid areas so as to provide scientific foundation to develop industry and agriculture, plan local economics and investigate atmospheric sciences.
