Abstract:

With a two-site Hubbard model and the Floquet theorem,the dynamical behaviors of an exciton confined in two quantum dots molecular are investigated.Applying AC electric field to the system,the calculation shows that the quasi-energy levels versus the amplitude of external field undergo a series of exact-crossing and avoid-crossing.At the weak regime,it is found that the initial localized state can be maintained at some exact-crossing of quasi-energies.In particular,the Coulomb interaction between electron and hole enhances this kind of dynamical localization.At the strong field regime,the dynamical localization can also be set up.The phenomena by the perturbation theory are explained,which lead to a detailed understanding of the system dynamic behaviors.
