Abstract:

A Frequency domain fast wavelet collocation method (FFWCM) is proposed for simulation of large-scale linear circuits.Compared with the time domain fast wavelet collocation method,the proposed FFWCM solves the state equation in frequency domain and reduces the problem unknowns by directly expanding the output variables with wavelet functions.Moreover,the explicit time domain solution can be directly derived from the frequency domain solution avoiding expensive numeric inverse Laplace transforms.Meanwhile,an adaptive scheme can be applied in this method which greatly improves the efficiency.As a result,the memory space and simulation time was greatly reduced by FFWCM,which make it efficient for simulating large-scale linear circuits.
