Design and Simulation of a-Si PIN/OLED Sensor/Display Device
|
Abstract:
A novel optical image sensor/display device composed by integrating an a-Si PIN photodiode connected in series but in opposite polarity with an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) is designed and simulated. From the theoretical analysis, following conclusions are obtained:(1) Increasing the power index of OLED can lower the device's drive voltage;(2) The sensitivity of device mainly depends on the a-Si PIN unit;(3) Decreasing the density of gap state in a-Si PIN can effectively broaden the linear response range of the device;(4) Furthermore,it is necessary to choose different shunt resistance of a-Si PIN for different purpose.
