Iterative Identification and Control Design Based on Vinnicombe Distance

Abstract:
The main issue of iterative identification and control focus on how to ensure the system stability and control performance improvement. In this paper, an iterative identification and control design method based on Vinnicombe distance is proposed. The method uses the controller designed at the last iteration for control of the real system and identifies an uncertain model set that contains the real system. Then, the controller is redesigned to stabilize the model set. At the same time, iterative closed-loop performance improvement condition and controller design method are proposed. Simulation result shows that the proposed method is effective.
