Direct Adaptive Fuzzy Predictive Control for a Class of Unknown Nonlinear Discrete Systems

Abstract:
A direct adaptive fuzzy predictive control method for a class of unknown nonlinear discrete systems is presented by introducing adaptive fuzzy logic system into the predictive control strategy. In this method,the plant is represented by a predictive model of a linear time varying submodel plus a nonlinear submodel, then a fuzzy logic system is used to design the controller directly. The controller parameters and unknown vectors in the estimation of generalized error are adjusted adaptively. It is proved that the proposed method can make the estimation of generalized error converge to a small neighborhood of the origin.
