A New Actuator Characteristic for Using of Process Control Systems

According to the requirements for control system, control valve should satisfy:(1) flow characteristics should fully match the process control system to insure fine regulation quality; (2) smooth operation under low dynamic pressure drop loss to conserve energy. However engineering practice shows that these two requirements are often contradictive. In order to solve this contradiction, a new control valve,called LPV, has been developed and used in process control systems. The results are very satisfactory in the improvement of regulation quality and energy conservation for process control systems.
