Automatic Processing and Recognition of the Buried Pipe Images

An automatic processing and recognition method for the subsurface radar images of the buried pipes is presented. Position and depth of the pipes are displayed on the computer screen directly. The method has been applied to a practical subsurface radar, and it has fine recognition ability to the underground pipe targets.
