This paper deals with the diagnostic repairable system of special state and special repair. Assume that the system has three modes: normal, partial failure and total failure. Some partial failure and total failure need special repair. It must be diagnosed to make sure which partial failure and total failure need special repair. By using probability analysis and supplementary variable method, the reliability index is obtained.
