The Reliability Computation of Nonmonotonic System

Generally. control systems are nonmonotonic. The characteristics of nonmonotonic system are different from those of monotonic system, such as failure-ordering, maintaining-ordering, etc. So it is important to study nonmonotonic systems. This paper presents an algorithm to solve the problem of the first failure time distribution of nonmonotonic system by Markov model. It is particularly useful to the analysis of complicated nonmonotonic systems.
