A Multiple-Model Based Design Method for the Control of Uncertain Multivariable Systems with Papermachines

Abstract:
A multivariable system with significant uncertainty is considered and presumably characterized by p finite-dimensional linear time-invariant models. A robust controller is designed in the frequency domain such that the resulting feedback system satisfies all the given performance specifications for all models. It has been applied to the control of a papermachine.
