The Application of the Concept of System Identification to Failure Diagnosis of Series Thyristor Valve

The application of the concept of system identification to fault detection of thyristor valve in high voltage direct current power transimission is discussed. The simulations of short and broktn circuit failures have been tes ed and the practical feasibility has been studied.
