A New Approach to the Parameter Identificatin of A Class of Nonlinear Systems and its Application to the Modelling of Biochemical Ferment Processes

Abstract:
By means of piecewise multiple Legendre polynomials (PMLP) proposed in 1], a new approach to the parameter identification of a class of nonlinear systems, the parameter separable nonlinear systems, is presented in the paper. The presented algorithms have the following advantages: the accuracy of the results is high, calculations have been greatly reduced, there is no need for prior knowledge about the parameters, and the identification can go recurrently. The algorithms are successfully applied to the parameter identification in the growth model of SPM.
