Study on GPS orientation experiment and method of improving location precision
|
Abstract:
Several orientation experiments with three different types of four GPS receivers were conducted which included single point orientation experiment and dynamic area measurement experiment. After a series of data analysis and treatment, location precision and the sequence of these GPS receivers under two experimental conditions were separately gained. By means of arithmetical averaging method, the optimum number of measurements was derived and the precision of GPS single point orientation was improved. Furthermore, a method of adding control point during data treatment was advanced and location precision of GPS dynamic area measurement was raised.
