Construction of the coastal shoaly land soil pressure-sinkage model
|
Abstract:
In accordance with the characteristics of coastal shoaly land, authors designed several measuring dishes with different shapes and sizes. These dishes were disposed to a SY 1 dead load paddy field soil pressure instrument to study soil pressure sinkage characteristics on coastal shoaly land in Zhejiang. With the help of those apparatus, a good effect was found in tests. Test result and analysis showed that Bekker model and its revised version do not fit with coastal shoal land and, therefore, a new soil pressure sinkage model more applicable for coastal shoaly land was put forward. Moreover an important theoretical basis developed for the design of coastal shoaly land machinery.
