Promoting plant growth and IAA analysis of Enterobacter cloacae B8 fermentation liquid.

Abstract:
In this experiment,sweet corn Sh2 and tomato were used to study promoting plant growth of Enterobacter cloacae B8 fermentation liquid, and its main biological active substance was also analyzed. The results showed that the growth of the testing plants could be accelerated after spraying with the suitable concentration of the fermentation liquid. Furthermore, the HPLC method confirmed that the main plant hormone in the fermentation liquid was indole-3-acetic acid (IAA). Under optimum conditions, its content reached 904.38 mg/L in liquid medium when adding 0.2% tryptophan. It was also found the level of endogenous IAA in testing plants was increased.
