Plant regeneration throught somatic embryogenesis on root-tip explants of Dendrobium officinale kimura et Miga

The histological processes of plant regeneration from root-tip of Dendrobium officinale kimura et Miga were studied.Segments produced clusters of somatic embryos from totipotent calli or directly from root apical meristems.The processes suggest protocorm like bodies of Dendrobium officinale kimura et Miga can be considered a ture somatic embryos that origin from a single-cell.
