To counter the confusion on land classification, combined with author's research achievement and work experience, the theory of land classification system that are comprised of land natural classification and land resources classification and landuse classification is put forward based on the essence of land classification at home and abroad and according to the land double property which are natural geographic attribute and social economic attribute The trial plan of land classification system based on this three classification system is presented in case of Zhejiang province This was adopted in the scientific monograph "Zhejiang Land Resources" and is proved that this is the potential way to resolve land scientific classification
