Anaerobic degradation process of phthalic acid esters
邻苯二甲酸酯的厌氧生物降解规律研究

Ten phthalic acid esters(PAEs) were tested anaerobically to assess their potential for biogas production.Results showed that biogas production decreased with the increasing alkyl chain length of PAEs resulting in its increased half-life. The equation between net biogas production and atomic number of PAEs was established through the test.It can be concluded that anaerobic biodegradability of PAEs could be predicted by their alkyl chain length.
