On the Teaching of Qi Poems in Book of Songs in Jinwen Jing
今文《诗经》之《齐诗》传授考

Researches of the teaching of the Qi Poems in Book of Songs by ancient and contemporary scholars are rare and confined to lists of the teachers with no detailed textural researches. Based on works scattered in related literature, this article sorts out the teachings of the Qi Poems as follows: the teacher of the first generation is Yuangu Sheng, who sorted out the features and formation of the Poems; the teacher of the second generation is Xiahou Shichang, who is perfect in the Five Classics and theory of Yin and Yang; the teachers of the third generation are Houchang and Sunshi, who initiated the teaching of the Qi Poems by monographs; the teachers of the fourth generation are Kuang Heng, Yi Feng, Xiao Wangzhi and Bai Qi, all of whom are high officials, initiating the high tide of teaching of the Qi Poems; the teachers of the fifth generation are Man Chang and his students Zhang Han, Pi Rong and Ma Yuan, Shi Dan and his students Ban Bo and Ban Gu, and Fu Li and his students, who saw the rise and fall of the teaching of the Qi Poems.
