A Comparative Study of the Development of Changjiang and Zhujiang Deltas and the Choice of Developmental Strategies for Changjiang Delta
长江三角洲、珠江三角洲发展对比研究与长江三角洲发展的策略选择

Based on a comparative analysis of the economic development in Changjiang and Zhujiang Deltas, this paper argues that the development strategy of Changjiang Delta in the new millenium should focus on knowledge\|based industry. The economic growth of the delta should be built on the production, dissemination and use of knowledge so as to lead the country in the direction of knowledge\|based economy.
