Lermontov''''s Complex for Caucasia
|
Abstract:
In Lermontov's works,it's clear that he,a great Russian poet, had deep complex for Caucasia. His complex, however, varied with his career. For Caucasia,Lermontov had beautiful memories while a child, bold dreams while an adult,as well as renewed knowledge about it after his exile. For him,Caucasia was not only a kind of natural existence, but also a kind of social existence. He loved the spectacular landscape of Caucasia, and was fascinated by the honest folkway and beautiful fairy tales there. Also,he was concerned with the peace and tranquility around Caucasia. The status quo of Caucasia might be his unfinished complex.
