This paper is a research on the socialist modemization of agriculture by the CPC after the founding of the PRC. As viewedfrom the altematives of social mode and the settings of development speed this modemization process is divided into two periods of timebefere the 3rd session of the 11th congress of the CPC(1978) and afterwords. Accordingly we'll try to make an evaluation of thevalue.
