On Values Education in Environmental Education

Environmental education is a new educational field, which has been taken seriously by various govemments and educationcircles.The cardinal aim of it is to develop students environmental values for sustainability. Values education, therefore, forms an im-portant part in environmental education. In the process of environmental values education, we should think of the aspects of naturalrights and values, interest justice, and consumption model, and take such particular teaching methods as outdoor teaching, controvert-ible problems discussion, values analysis, etc. Environmental values are the important component of citizens' environmental quality, soenvironmental values education is the basic element of the future solution of environmental problems and improvement of environmentalquality.
