The Knowledge-Based Economy and Remoulding of Ideas about Education

“The knowledge based economy” is a newly emerging social form today, and its rise will deeply change traditional ideas about education. It means that “thd knowledge based economy” will make us understand new value of knowledge, alter greatly “ideas of knowledge” that we once owned, and develop four new ideas about education, namely, man-centered, learning society, international understanding education, and laying equal stress on scientific education and humanistic education.
