On the Self\|contenting Essence of Play
|
Abstract:
The theory of the relationship between means and purposes is the principal methodology to make a study of the nature of vital games. In terms of this methodology,we can divide vital games into three primary types:labour, consumption and play. Play is a self\|contenting activity with the means and purposes being combined as an inherent unity. Games played by the biological beings are the activities based on inherent means to meet the intrinsic desire directly, that is to say, we may call them self\|contenting existing activities for adaptability.
