Chen Duxiu''''s Political Activities before the Revolution of 1911

A period of time before the Revolution of 1911 witnessed the (participation) of Chen Duxiu in the (rebellious) parties. He once joined the secret "Assassinating Group" organized by anti-Qing personages, and co-founded and led the anti-Qing revolutionary "Yue Wang Hui" (Society of General Yue). However, a lot of related historical facts have remained unknown or lacked confirmation. The paper is aimed at tracing his (psychological) track in political activities, finding out his logic of thinking in throwing himself into revolution, and interpreting how his (style) of struggle is shaped. All these display the root cause that he turned to the (revolutionary) cause later on.
