Urbanization and Industry Adjustment
论城市化和产业调整——以浙江省为例

Since 1978, grossly increasing of small town population is the main form of urbanization in Zhejiang Province. But the expansion of small towns under non-market forces is not genuine urbanization. Quickening the step of urbanization, promoting the adjustment of industrial structure and organization through the rearrangement of industrial space distribution is essential to solve the issues such as the slow upgrading of rural industry, underdeveloped tertiary industry and the standstill of agricultural modernization in Zhejiang. To quicken the pace of urbanization, we should make institutional innovation and combine incrementae mode of urbanization with mode of reserved quantity simultaneously.
