According to the reality of socialist market econo my, the different opinion of value creation attributed to working is illustrate d. After showing the commodity value is not equal to human's normal work, two ty pes of materialized work: work object and production tool are distinguished and investigated. It is thought that work object is different from production tool n ot only in character, function and value compensation, but also in the effect of value creation. In producing process, the value of work object is transferred i nto a new product without any change in value amount. But new value can be produ ced by a production tool, which is the same with working since the human work ca n be replaced by a production tool.
