Hao Ran''''s Short Stories in the Sixties
|
Abstract:
Hao Ran's short stories obtained a distinct stylistic character in their narrative viewpoints, language, and real\|life orientations. The artistic and ideological values of this style are in turn severely handicapped by his ideas of an over\|simplicity and directness toward reality. A careful review of Hao Ran's short story writing in the sixties can be helpful with an overall evaluation of his literary creation and, to a larger extent, of all literary creation of that unique period in the history of Chinese literature.
