International Security and China''''s Diplomacy from the Perspective of Globalization
|
Abstract:
Globalization should be regarded as the general background when we judge the international security and Chinese diplomacy in the post-cold war era. Beginning in the 15th century, globalization has been accelerated and strengthened under the power of information, market and global issues on one hand, and on the other hand it has brought great changes to the content and pattern of international security , the causes and solution of international disputes, the status and function of state and non-state roles, and has transferred the focus of international security from the West-East relationship to the North-South relationship. As the biggest developing country and socialist country which is seeking modernization and integration into international community, China is under the multiple challenge of globalization, modernization and democratization. Comprehensive diplomacy is our basic rational choice.
