Lacan''''s Views of Truth
|
Abstract:
What Lacan said is that, truth is not something inherent in the sign, but something created by speech. While speech opens the dimension of truth, it also opens the dimension of error; truth is entangled with error, like a parasite in error, manifesting itself by virtue of error's manifestation. So,only in the contradiction, only in certain temporality can truth break with error, revealing error and manifesting itself.
