Some Textual Researches on Qian Qianyi and Liu Rushi
|
Abstract:
Although Qian Qianyi and Liu Rushi have recently been very popular research objects in academic circles, still many concrete problems need to be solved, mainly including the following aspects: (1) The edition of Qian Qianyi's Mu Zhai Ji(enduring works collected). The text of Mu Zhai Ji in Chuan Shi Cang Shu is actually the worst one and the most carelessly collated. It is unworthy of the name. (2) The chronological sequence of Qian Qianyi's collection of poems entitled Mu Zhai You Xue Ji. Regarding the date when the poems in Mu Zhai You Xue Ji were written, there are many discrepancies in the general table of contents and in specific poems, which merits the due attention of readers. (3) The year the poem Fang Sheng Xing, Song Fang Er Zhi Huan Jin Ling was written. According to Mu Zhai You Xue Ji, the poem was written in 1662, whereas in fact it was written in 1663. (4) The oversight on the part of Chen Yinke, who misquoted Liu Rushi's Chang Ge Xing instead of Liu's Jian Shu Xing in his work Liu Rushi Biezhuan (informal biography of Liu Rushi). (5) Failure of the researchers to disclose the fact that Liu Rushi quoted the Ming Dynasty poet Li Mengyang in his poem Geng Chen Zhong Dong Fang Mu Weng Yu Ban Ye Tang, Feng Zeng Chang Ju, which contains something unhealthy.
