This essay presents a textual study of the Qing Dynasty poems, covering such issues as: i) Sources of Xiang Shengmo's poem " A Giant Tree against the Wind"; ii) Editions of Mao Qiling's poem:"to Mr. Liu"; iii) Marking and interpreting Wang Shizhen's preface to his" A Willow Tree in Autumn"; iv) Qixialing and Yanxialing; v) redactional chronology of Yan Mei*s antholo-gy; vi) Yao Nai's quotation of Li Bai in his " Biemenglouhou"; vii) Li Jian's poem on his wife's painting.
