This paper introduced the procedures of breeding Zaoyou 504,an new wheat variety,which has the characteristics of disease,high yield and fine quality,and is suitable for interplant and multiple cropping.By combination of distant crossing, chromosome engineering and conventional breeding technicals Zaoyou 504 was developed by crossing between octoploid tritielytrigia Zhong 5 and Triticum aestivum.
