An Improved Algorithm for Two-dimensional Cumulant-based Adaptive Line Enhancement

Abstract:
The iteration step size of the algorithm of two-dimensional high order cumulant-based adaptive line enhancement(2DHOCBALE) is easily affected by noise disturbance.This paper analyzes the feature of 2DHOCBALE,and proposes an improved algorithm.The results of simulation show that the improved algorithm proposed by this paper can well suppress white gaussian noise and colored gaussian noise,and improve the signal-to-noise ratio of two-dimensional signals of the small spatial extent embedded in noise background.
