Side-information-based Image Watermarking Resistant to Affine Transformations

Abstract:
Image watermarking resistant to geometric attacks is challenging at present. As a typical geometric attack,affine transformation can defeat most of existing watermarking schemes. This paper proposes a watermarking algorithm based on the watermarking model with side-information and using Zernike moments of cover image.Employing dither modulation,watermark is coded and embedded by taking the Zernike moments of the normalized image as side information. It has been proved by experiments that this algorithm has high imperceptibility,high capacity,and is robust to affine transformation and JPEG lossy compression.
