The planning and device of landscape ecology (PDLE)is an area eco-planning method whose theoretical basis is the principle of landscape ecology. It sets forth corresponding construction schemes and countermeasures. Its main duty is to create an area landscape ecosystem which can develop continuously. The fundamental steps and ways of PDLE are a progressive realization process that proceeds from the ideal goal device, the functional planning and device,and the structure planning and device to the utilization and device of concrete units.
