THE MULTI-OBJECTIVE OPTIMAL SUSTAINABLE USE OF BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE

In this paper, the theory and method of multi-objective optimal sustainable use of biological resource are suggested on the basis of the theory of optimal control. When the yield of the biological resource is determined,not only the economic benefits and the capacity of population's recovery but also the effects of yield on environmental and social benefits are considered. The factors including those which reflect the environmental, biological, economic and social benefits are taken as the aims of optimization. In order to apply the theoretical optimal yield to an concrete biological system, the thought and method for meking the strategy of satisfactory sustainable yield are also suggested. As a case study, the multiobjective optimal sustainable use and the strategy of satisfactory sustainable yield of Waterhyacinth are discussed.
