Investigation,Determination of Chemical Compositions and Screening of Non-food Bio-diesel Plant in Hainan Province

Abstract:
We determined the characteristics of current Non-Food Bio-diesel Plant(NFBP) resources in Hainan province,including amount and distribution.The oil content was determined by Soxhlet extraction,and fatty acid methyl esters were analyzed with the Alkali catalyzed method.Experimental data were calculated and analyzed by the relevant formula and statistical software.Ultimately,59 species(including two varieties) belonging to 30 families and 47 genera were screened according to the preliminary evaluation standar...
