Educing and observing the stem's secondary xylem of Cornus controversa revealed there are two types of perforation plates , scalarform perforation plate and simple perforation plate, and the perforation of the simple perforation plate is extended.There are 4 types of vassel elements with different types of perforation plates: both ends of the vassel element are scalarform perforation plate; one end scalarform type, the other simple type; one end two simple types, the other end scalarform type; both ends simple type.
