Study on Vegetation at Huangshi''''ao Provincial Nature Reserve,Heping County,Guangdong Province,China
广东和平黄石坳省级自然保护区植被研究

A survey on vegetation at Huangshi'ao Provincial Nature Reserve,Heping County,Guangdong Province,China was made by using quadrat method.Results showed there were 8 vegetation types in our study area.The typical vegetation is subtropical evergreen forest which is made up of Fagaceae,Lauraceae,and Hamamelidaceae etc.The dominant species in arbor layer are Castanopsis fissa,Cunninghamia lanceolata,Schima superba,Beilschmiedia fordii,Liquidambar formosana,and Cyclobalanopsis glauca,etc.The geographical elements of dominant families and genera are relatively complex,which are mainly made up of pan-tropical,tropical Asia,and north temperate patterns showing the typical characteristic of middle sub-tropic.
