EFFECT OF MANNITOL ON THE CELLS OF BLUE-GREEN ALGAE
甘露醇对蓝藻细胞的作用

The stabilizer mannitcl showed a lyric effect on the cells of the blue-green alga Ababaena azotica. The effeet increaced with the increacing of concentrations of mannitol, treating temperatures and treating times. It decreased with lower acidity and longer culture days. The disintegration of cells broken the trichomes into single cell, twin cells and short segments. Optical density of the cell suspension declined obviously.
