A STUDY ON THE INTRODUCTION OF EXOGENOUS DNA AND VARIATION OF WHEAT
|
Abstract:
Using modified method of phenol extration and RNase treatment, exogenous DNAs were isolated and purified from the seedling of T. aegilopoides Bal., T. dicoccoides Korn., T. timopheevi Zhuk., and T. polonicum L. since 1987, and the DNAs were introduced into "Yuntie-1"(T. aestivum Spp. Yunnanse King) and "E-en-1" (T. aestivum L.) by injection to ovule or transduction through pollen tube path. The results showed that the characters of donor or new variation types were observed in the D_1 progeny, and some of the characters of variation were stably expressed in the D_2 Progeny.
