The various parts of peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)germinating seed were used as explants and their difference of cultural ability has been compared among intact embryonic bud, main bud , lateral bud and embryonic stem. The results are as follows:1. In the process of explant culture, regenerative ability of peanut embryonic stem is great and the sequence of cultural ability ranges as: embryonic stem>intact embryonic bud>main bud>lateral bud>cotyledon leaf.2. It was demonstrated that the best hormone combination was 0.6mg/1 NAA and 0.9mg/1 BA.
