There are 24 taxa(including species, variety and forma) which distribute in 70% counties of this area. The annual yield of the fruits is approximately 27500 t.16 fine individuals have been selected from the wild plants and developed above 150 hectares at 45 experimental stations of 28 counties or cities in Hubei. The annual processed output in this province is 1500 t. Some of them are very famous and excellent in quality.
