The article is mainly to describe flowering and bearing habit of Chinese flowering quince Chaenomeles speciosa(Sweet) Nakai] in Changyang,Hubei.The author points out: Chinese flowering quince flowers first,then unfolds its leaves;the inflorescence is a cyme;bearing branch is a specialized dwarf and cluster twig;the development can be divided into two phases:young fruit development and later fruit growth.
