Distribution Characteristics of Lead Isotope in Dust Source Areas and Its Trace Significance in the North of China
中国北方沙尘源区铅同位素分布特征及其示踪意义的初步研究

Distribution characteristics of lead isotope in the dust source areas of the North of China and its trace significance are discussed.Results show that spatial distribution of lead isotope has distinct difference,Mu us Desert has the minimum of lead isotope(206Pb/204Pb,207Pb/204Pb and 208Pb/204Pb) and Taklimankan Desert has the maximum of lead isotope.Results in this paper compared with others sediments indicate that lead isotope is an effective tracer in the dust provenance of the Chinese Loess,glacial dust in the Greenland Ice Core and North Pacific sediments.
